#6 The Meatrix

Many people don't know about where the food comes from and how to the processing.  They never go too fine the factory how to processing of foods.  I didn’t know factory farm is different between family farms before I watched The Meatrix movies.  I am sad to know the true about meat packing plant.
The Meatrix movies used the animal's point of view to talk about factory farm and meat packing plant situation.  Those factory farms put animals living in small places that they cannot freely.  In such a confined space, animals cannot breathe fresh air.  Over time, animals' resistance to drop a lot.  They in order to enhance Animals immunity, they added to animal feed with antibiotics.  Furthermore, they feed the baby cow in blood instead of milk.  After they antibiotic overuse, a lot of cow were mad cow disease.  They even wanted to avoid the chickens' fighting, so they cruel to cut off chicken's beaks.
It is not difficult to imagine a fast food nation like the U.S. thousands of tons of beef was consumed every year.  Factory farm gradually replace family farm because of factory farm feed animals speed faster than family farm.  Under the high-speed consumer environment, unscrupulous traders began to look for ways to artificially accelerate the growth of animals.  For example, they use many antibiotics to expedite animals’ growth.
However, the factory farm want the everything is fast, so the meat packing become the most dangerous work in the nation.  They use the low selling price to attract fast food companies and people to buy.  They just for the pursuit of efficiency without responsible.  People who eat those foods will suffer from diseases.  This is a shameless of irresponsible business practices for the society and the masses.  How many people eat those foods as a result of obesity and suffering chronic diseases!  The government because of the fast-food company pay for huge tax policy each year that without the introduction of policies to regulate the industry.
In my opinion, in order to our heath we should support the family farm and don’t buy the fast food.  This is the good way for us to reduce the factory farms.  In a word, in order to our health and living environment of animals.  We should clearly understand the source of production before purchasing food products.  Try to buy organic food.

Study links sugared sodas with obesity

The above two paragraphs news reflects the fast food culture led to the American childhood obesity.   There are something news the same with "Fast Food Nation" what we can read from the news about “Study links sugared sodas with obesity”.  For example, “In the mid-1990s, children's intake of sugared beverages surpassed milk. And for each glass of soda consumed per day, a child's likelihood of becoming obese increases 60 percent.” And “‘I have seen other kids who are allowed to drink Pepsi, and I honestly believe that's the reason why they can't sit still,’ Ravenscroft said.”
When we read "Fast Food Nation" we know about that many soda companies are targeting children through of advertisement.  Those soda companies not only advertisements in public schools, but also make a lot of toy into the happy meal to attract children to eat their food.  Their aim is to change children's eating habits, so that their market share remains the same.
However, according to a sweeping statewide study released, we know that soda is one of the — if not the largest — contributors to the obesity epidemic.  The government of SAN FRANCISCO is aware of this is a reason direct result of obesity among children increased dramatically in the United States.  “San Francisco has become the first major American city to prohibit fast-food restaurants from including toys with children's meals that do not meet nutritional guidelines.”  This is a fast-food industry on the legislative control activities in the great victory.
In my opinion, fast food industry is a product of the rapid development of modern society of U.S.  The rapid development of the fast food industry has also changed the American food culture.  However, this is not a healthy food culture.  Fast food culture directly to American a sharp increase of obesity in the last 30 years.  “The study found that 24 percent of adults drink one or more non-diet sodas a day, and these adults are 27 percent more likely to be overweight.”  More hateful things, they will stretch the hands of the evil to children.  San Fran bans toys in some fast-food kids meals are correct.  Because it a good way to used from a legal supervision of the fast food industry.
